Irane Gagben Sancutary

Located in a quiet residential area, just a five-minute walk from Siwa’s centre square, our home is a traditional karshif, stone and palm wood house.

This intimate, nurturing home hosts 2 people at a time, offering a supportive environment where creativity and presence can flourish. Co-founder Maxine lives in the house and is present throughout the stay, offering guidance and support.

The house as a living sanctuary
Each space within the house carries its own energy, offering different invitations throughout the day. The house is held as sacred, safe, and alive.

  • The Landing — a space to land and gather, to pause between outside and inside.
  • The Heart Room — a warm, grounding space for rest and shared moments; mornings filled with sunlight, evenings gathered around the fire.
  • The Common Table — a shared surface for meals, dialogue, and creative work, where ideas and nourishment meet.
  • The Sky Roof — open to sun, wind, and stars, inviting movement, meditation, creation, or simply gazing at the horizon and the oasis.
  • The Nest — a light-filled, intimate room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom, offering a private space for rest
  • A fully equipped kitchen
